My year to Canadore College

I really enjoyed my year to North Bay for three reason.

First of all, I learned to take my responsibilities such as doing my laundry, cooking my dinner and doing my grocery shopping. When I lived to my parents’ houses it was easy to say’’ mom can you do my laundry’’. My dinner was already prepared when I came back to my practices. Now, I have to organize myself because I have a lot to do with all my practice and games.

After that, I learned to live with five other persons. It’s really hard to live with someone who doesn’t really have the same values of you. Sometimes, your roommates vacuum her bedroom at night when you are trying to sleep, you have to take a breath and relax. Also, it’s not everybody who takes the garbage out, so you only have to say in your head that you will go farther in your life than them because you are learning to take you responsibilities.

Then,I learned to be far from my family and my friends. Last year, I was with my family each day and this year it’s only once a month and haft. It’s a big change. However, this year a big piece of me was with me, Julia, and I met some friends formidable too.

Finally I don’t regret my choice because I now have many experiences under my belt.
